Except for the Fiber Optic Cable, Fiber Management is as important as the cable in the ODN network.

Fiber optic passive products are an important part of an Optical Distribution Network (ODN) which is used to distribute optical signals to various locations. These passive products are used to terminate, manage, split and distribute the optical signals without the need for electrical power.

Here is a brief overview of some common fiber optic passive products used in ODN:

Optical-fiber Distribution Frame

ODF is used for the connection and patching of optical cables, mainly used as the interface between the optical transmission network and optical transmission equipment and between optical cables in the access network of optical fiber subscribers.

Fiber Distribution Outdoor Cabinet

FDT is used for achieving connection and grooming of optical cable. It is mainly suitable for optical cross-connecting points between optical transmission network, optical transmission equipment and access network for fiber subscribers.

Fiber Optic Splice Closure

FOSC is used for optic fiber connection when optic cable downstream branching in PON network. In the FTTX distribution network, the optical splicing closure mainly supports optical cable the A / B end connected, the small-capacity single-core optical fiber splicing, and the leading-out and fixing of multiple access cables.

Fiber Distribution Box

FDB is used for FTTH-ODN network subscriber access point, complete wiring fiber optic cable and home fiber optic cable splicing, straight through, divergence, splitting, and provide fiber optic protection equipment.
